Birthdays coming up!

I have several friends that have birthdays coming soon so I stayed up late last night and got up early this morning to make up a few cards. Hope you like them!

The first one used the inkadinkadoo stamps that I bought during the "shop hop". I used stardream ivory and ruby, stamped them with SU Perfect Plum. Cut out the bird stamp and pop dotted it. Rounded the corners, used the EK success border punch and put a strip of the ruby stardream underneath the punched area. Added an ivory organza ribbon to the side.

The second card used the SU Manhattan embossing die and the swiss dot cuttlebug embossing folder. I used pink stardream cardstock. It embosses quite well. I cut the image to reveal the swiss dot embossing at the top. I added the medium size pearls in the upper corner and in the middle of the rose images. I knotted pink organz aribbon at the bottom. This card was cased from Susie B on splitcoaststampers.

The last card was the most fun. I used the cuttlebug on one side, made lines with my score-it on the right side and then punched the butterflies. They were each punched twice, one was attached to the cardstock, the other layer was only attached in the middle. The butterfly bodies are tiny pearls. I then dotted my new "smoochies" on the butterfly wings.

If you have a birthday soon, maybe you will get one of these cards!

Sad news and Conventions

Sorry I haven't posted in a while but my life has
been upside down for the last month. I had to do a sympathy card for friends , this is something that I find hard to do - I used the Denami Cross stamp along with the SU Close to Memory stamp verse.
Cardstock was Lovely Lilac and Mellow Moss. Got the idea from a card done by Lisa Altha. I loved the ribbon technique.

While at the Epsilon Sigma Alpha International Convention in San Antonio I was part of a hands on craft workshop. I chose to do Justrite monogram cards. They also learned to line their envelopes to match. I think they were well received and everyone had a great time. I bought the printed paper at Hobby Lobby.

For the Kentucky State Council incoming
and outgoing presidents, I tried to use the themes for their years and these are the cards that I gave them. Lynn used "cats" , notice the special kitty kat ribbon. Sherry is using "ants" so I stamped ants across the top and bottom.

Hope you enjoy these cards. Hopefully, I will be able to post more soon.
