Almost Two Years since I Posted!

My retirement has been great but I have been too busy to get things updated here. I have taken classes and classes and classes. My collection of stamps and stamp parphanial has grown so in the next few weeks I will try to post cards that I have designed or cased. I hope you enjoy! I have also Updated the look for my blog and I hope you like the new look.

This card is for my grandson who will be graduating on Thursday from Croton-Harmon High School in Croton on Hudson, New York. (School colors are Black and Orange - they are the tigers)
I can't believe he is grown up and will be going to Syracruse University this next August.

My next two cards were made for two of the special fathers in my life.

The first w
as made for my father who was 91 years old this year. He lives in Corpus Christi, Texas and I spent many days with him down at the T-Heads watching the pelicans so I thought this was the perfect stamp for him. It is a Stampin Up stamp. I also used the nestabilities Label 4 and a Martha Stewart border punch. The cardstock was Stampin Up Night of Navy. I stamped the image with Memento Ink London Fog and shaded with the same ink.

The second card is for my husband who retired in April.

I chose this old light house stamp for his card because we will be going to Boston this next weekend for our Family Weekend. I will be with my two children, Laura and Jack; my son-in-law, Bob and my three grandchildren, Jordan, Aria, and Dylan.

I used Night of Navy Stampin Up Cardstock with green cardstock that I found at Archivers in Indianapolis. I used the hole border punch from EK Sucess (It reminded me of bubbles) I painted everything with my copic markers and outlined the square in yellow and added shine with my glitter pen.

Hope to post again soon! I promise it will not be two years from now.

  2. I love the birds...Your statement, " I love to share" is so you. Even though I had seen both of the cards at the lake...I enjoyed seeing them again. I know your grandson will like his card...so well done.
